A Note from our founder 

I can’t begin to tell you what an honor it is to be serving the Lord with all of you in the New Beginnings family.
 

What a joy it has been to watch the Lord continue to bless and grow this ministry through the toughest of times.


It has been so difficult to move to a “virtual banquet” this year. I keep thinking about previous years at the beautiful UCM ballroom, surrounded by hundreds of our dearest, most faithful partners. We will miss greeting you personally and thanking you for your precious partnership. Even though we will miss that personal connection, we want you to know how very much we appreciate you!


Each year the Lord gives me a scripture for New Beginnings that becomes the theme of our banquet. This year it comes from 1 Peter 4: 8, 10 (from The Passion Translation) It has a very interesting metaphor that I love:

“Above all, constantly echo God’s intense love for one another, for love will be a canopy over a multitude of sins… Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God’s grace.”

Each one of us is a vital strand in God’s intricately woven tapestry of love and grace. Thank you for faithfully serving with your grace gift. Together we can change and save lives!
 

I want to thank each of you who has partnered with us, and also the ones who will reach out to help others after linking arms with us tonight.

Our world has never needed Hope more than it does today.

WHO WE ARE

New Beginnings Women’s Center represents a community of believers and medical professionals in Johnson County and surrounding communities who have generously supported New Beginnings since 2004 to ensure women have a safe haven to come and hear truth and to experience the reality of their pregnancy through ultrasound. We believe that Women Deserve Better Than Abortion!

We work together to provide services, resources, information, education, and support throughout the pregnancy and continuing long after the baby is born. This support helps women to see that they have many more options than they thought they did. A woman should never have to choose between her education, her career, or her baby.

OUR MISSION

We exist to empower women to choose abundant life. After a woman chooses life, she has the opportunity to connect with a godly mentor who meets with her weekly to provide relationship, support, education, and material resources. While going through the “Bright Course” curriculum, a young mother will receive Baby Bucks that she can spend in the Boutique for a variety of baby items, large and small.
 

But most of all she will be offered support and relationship, learn parenting skills, and be able to join a discipleship group “Embrace Grace” supported by local churches. Young fathers are now offered a similar group through our new “Fatherhood initiative”.
