pregnancy signs

Your first step is to find out if you are actually pregnant. A missed period is the most common indication, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re pregnant. Pregnancy tests are an indicator of pregnancy, not a confirmation.

Pregnancy tests can provide invalid results, and false positives can still happen. Hormonal changes, stress, diet, and exercise all influence your cycle and reproductive health. Home tests can produce incorrect results for other reasons as well.

The first thing you need to do is confirm that you are pregnant. Even if you have pregnancy symptoms or have taken a test at home, you will need to have a lab-quality pregnancy test and an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy.

confirm your pregnancy

Our pregnancy tests are:

  • 99% accurate

  • More sensitive than many over-the-counter tests

  • Able to detect the pregnancy hormone as early as 7 days after conception (or 21 to 24 days after the first day of your last period)

If your pregnancy test is positive, it is important to see if your pregnancy is occurring within your uterus, if there is a heartbeat, and then determine how far along you are.

The medical and nursing professionals at our onsite limited medical office will perform a limited ultrasound that will give you all of this essential information for free.
